NUT FOR QUICK TOOLS INSTALLATION MS33737

Allows mounting of aircraft instruments from the front of the panel.

No changes are required in the panel or instrument design.

It is not magnetic (the quick nut is made of brass; the cage is made of phosphor bronze) it complies with MIL-N-3336.

The cage is easily compressed with the pressure of the fingers to allow the insertion of the slats in the passage holes.

When fully inserted and the pressure released, the slats open; keep "SPEED DUT" in the screw receiving position. The downward facing corners hold firmly against the force of the insertion screw and the tightening torque of the screws.

All the tool mounting nuts listed below require a 6-32 threaded screw.

The thread size is the same on each nut, but the thickness of the tool bezel can be different.

They must be ordered according to the thickness of the rear frame of the instrument.
They are inserted from the back of the instrument frame and have the slats oriented towards the panel.
