Fixed single-pump pliers Ø 44 mm. The body is monolithic in vacuum tempered magnesium (material used in the construction of satellites) and receives a protective anti-corrosion and anti-wear treatment. The piston seat is rolled to obtain a higher surface hardness and a super finish that guarantee a long use without maintenance.
Absolutely lighter and 10 times stiffer than equivalent aluminum calipers; this allows all the pressure to be discharged on the linings making the braking precise and of maximum efficiency.
The design has been optimized to the maximum with the two lower screws that have three different functions: - hold the cover - hold the pads - help to stiffen the caliper even more. The one-piece body allows you to work with pressures up to 100 bar.
Easy maintenance for the replacement of the pads that are identical to each other and stainless steel bolts
The caliper body has no fixing holes because it is supplied in a universal version: normally it is the user who drills the caliper according to their needs. On request, we can customize the product.
Retrofittable on all 5 ”and 6” wheels.
It is possible to request the version with two springs to also reduce noise (Tecnam Srl Aeronautical Construction version).
For space requirements it is possible to install the cover with the side inlets.
Total weight of one caliper gr. 422
